Agencja
The activities of the Agency are addressed to:
- Leaders of non-governmental organizations
- Evaluators - people who work professionally in conducting evaluations of non-governmental organizations
- Sponsors, grantmakers
The main goal of the Non-governmental Agency for Evaluation and Development is to increase the effectiveness of non-governmental organizations and citizens' initiatives in addressing social problems through the use of monitoring and evaluation as basic tools to improve the quality of services.
The Agency works on two levels:
- By educating the community of non-governmental organizations
to
conduct their own, independent evaluations of their work and activities,
- By improving the quality of evaluation services in Poland
and
educating groups of specialists who are not only able to conduct an
internal audit, but also can support an organization through the process
of implementing the resulting proposals and recommendations.
The Agency is charged with:
- Promoting evaluation and monitoring among leaders of the Third Sector,
- Providing organizations with the tools to conduct self-assessments
and
monitor their activities,
While also:
- Integrating the community of evaluators, and
- Developing standards of conducting evaluations in the social sector.
Team:
Agency assemble the people, who are working on evaluation.
They are working for different organizations and institutions.
Agention try to connect knowledge and practise with scientific theory. We cooperate with evaluators from:
- Foundation in Support of Local Democracy, Białystok
- Evaluation Center
- Polish Society of Evaluation
